At Haws Financial Services, LLC our relationship with our clients is of the highest importance. We keep the following policies in place to ensure that our staff can serve our clients in the best possible way

Client Policies

Clients are considered in either ACTIVE OR INACTIVE status.

Active status clients receive:

  • A discount on their QuickBooks Online® subscription.
  • Stay up-to-date on expenses and income making tax time easier!
  • Get the benefit of regular updates to both QBO and my business.
  • Pay the discounted price for business tax preparation, if they choose to have us prepare their taxes.

Inactive status clients:

  • Pay full price for their QuickBooks Online® subscription.
  • Miss out on vital tax write offs by not tracking expenses and mileage.
  • Don’t know the new information and changes that benefit you.
  • Pay full price for business tax preparation, if they choose to have us prepare their business taxes.

To remain in active status:

  1. Clients must bring in, send in, or scan in receipts and/or have their bank account(s) connected to their QBO.
  2. Clients must stay in communication with Haws Financial Services by phone, text, or email at least twice monthly (unless otherwise arranged).
  3. Attend monthly follow up appointments for the first 3 months of our contract and as needed after. These appointments can be attended via phone, Zoom, or in person.

Payments

Payments on invoices must be made within 20 days of receipt, unless otherwise indicated. A 10% late fee will be assessed on the 25th day, compounded monthly unless arrangements are made with management.

Payments may be made through the payment link sent with invoice. Other payment methods include Zelle, Venmo, CashApp or in person payments of cash or card.

Clients with unpaid invoices older than 45 days and no communication* with management will begin the termination process. All statements must be paid in full 10 days after receipt of final statement and termination letter.

Termination can be rescinded, at the owner’s discretion.

Privacy Policy

Haws Financial Services will not disclose, divulge, reveal, report, or use for any purpose, any confidential information which our company has obtained for the purpose of performing any service.

Information will remain confidential indefinitely, regardless of how information is obtained or delivered.

In addition, all information will remain confidential indefinitely, regardless of contract status.

Our company agrees to keep all physical records secured under lock and key at all times. Access to these records is restricted to personnel covered under Haws Financial Services fiduciary bond. All digital records will be protected by using firewall**, anti-virus software**, VPN services**, and Dropbox® for secure online storage.

Other policies

Haws Financial Services, LLC maintains insurance and fiduciary bonds to ensure the safety of your financial information.

All HFS employees are under the same obligations and regulations as the owner, Michelle Haws and are trained in their specific capacities. An audit of work is performed each month by management to ensure accuracy.

All emails and phone calls are returned with 24 business hours.

*Clients that communicate with management regarding late invoices and have an arrangement in place will not be placed in termination status.

** While we will always keep these services and software on our equipment, this is not a guarantee of 100% safety. We only guarantee that we will keep the software on the equipment and up-to-date with regular updates and IT checks.
